1- Unpaid Internship- The candidate will learn all the ins and outs of managing, leasing, books and accounting, tenant relations etc… in a career as a property manager. A high-school student or a college attendee could apply for this position. You must be responsible, punctual, and be willing to learn. Hours to attend are flexible. Familiarity of Office Suite of applications is helpful and owing a laptop/desktop is essential.
2- Paid Independent Contractor- We are seeking a candidate who has strong people’s skills who is willing to work flexible hours. Your duties would vary from managing, leasing, book-keeping, performing tenant relation duties, answering calls, preparing marketing packages for properties for sale and so on. Hours to attend are flexible. Familiarity of Office Suite of applications is a must and owing a laptop/desktop is essential.
3- Licensed Real Estate Agent- This position is a commission-only and an independent contractor type status. You must have a RE license or work toward obtaining such a designation through BRE. You can work your own hours. You get training as to perform canvasing, prospecting, cold calling and so on to become successful in the commercial real estate field. You must be comfortable talking to people on the phone. You will be working along a highly successful broker and will get training and support along the way. Familiarity of Office Suite of applications is a must and owing a laptop/desktop is essential.
